Very basic

With stuff like SMBZ out there, you're going to have to add a lot more to your fights in order to entertain people. Make the camera shake, slow motion, zoom in, etc.

Tight

I like the idea of the portals a lot. I just wish it was longer.

Wow

This was DOPE!!!!! I wish I knew how you made this move so smoothly. I'm working on a movie now where I have Hiryu fighting Hein, and it's a bit choppy, but I am a beginner and it will be my very first movie. I've been lacking the motivation to finish, but watching your strider in action just inspired me to finish :D

About my scenario movement ... is my developed AS code (AS Scenario Mananger) found on my page.

About chars moviment is a long way to reach. The tips that I can do for you is.

- Try animate using 26 or 29 fps on your project.
- Hear many times as possible the soundtrack you intends use on animation and imagine the fight choreography without the sprites limitation.
- After you have the choreograph, try use the sprites seemed your imagination and observe the frames sequence 'cause there are frames not to fit on sequence, or will not seems a natural movement.
- In some cases you can get a frame from other movement from same char to link two diferents movements. You really need study all sprites from your char to know which sprite sequence fit another sprite sequence or who specific sprite (or sprites) connect two sequences.
- The last tip is practice... this is the great secret.. more practice...equal more experience.... equal better animations. Try create experimental animations to acquire more experience about the movements from chars and scenario before start your project.

Don't submit your experiments, keeps to itself.... this is part only of the learning process... OK...

I'm very happy about my Hiryu motivate you to conclude your animation. Thanks man and good luck.
I expect you can create a awesome animation... don't forget show me ...

See ya...

Awesome

I love the concept, and how it switched from animations to sprites. Very cool. The music went well with it too.

After seeing videos done by Proxicide, Monty Oum, Alvin Earthworm, and LDGVegitto, I couldn't help but work on some flash movies of my own. I don't have as much time to devote to them though, but when I do work on them, I put my heart into it.
